Deep Dive: Impact & Pitching Workshop

On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, highly motivated Exdigit researchers gathered at the “Science and Art” premises on Bergstraße in Salzburg for a full-day, inspiring workshop to explore and discuss the impact their projects and ideas have or could have.

Under the workshop leadership of Dagmar Ziegler (Startup Salzburg at the University of Salzburg) and Jürgen Soutschek (Startup Salzburg / AplusB @ University of Salzburg and Innovation Salzburg GmbH), four groups worked in the morning on the aspects of Asset Clarity, Problem Reality, Economic Hypothesis, and Validation, in order to gain a clearer understanding of the (social/economic) value and transfer potential of these research activities and results.

The afternoon was dedicated to further, structured refinement of the ideas and projects, primarily to prepare them for successful pitching. The exciting and fruitful workshop concluded with four dynamic pitches for different target audiences, each followed by a feedback session to make them even more convincing and impactful for future presentations.

We are looking forward to further developing the Exdigit ideas worked on in the workshop, as well as many others—both existing and upcoming—to continue supporting their transfer and maximize the overall impact of the Exdigit project.
