Cansu Demir at Austria’s Forum on Automated Mobility
Cansu Demir represented EXDIGIT at the forum “Automated Mobility – Competencies and Perspectives for Austria” at TU Wien. Organized by GSV (Gesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen), the event brought together stakeholders from government, academia, and industry to discuss current developments and future perspectives in automated mobility.
The forum was opened by Austrian Federal Minister Peter Hanke, who highlighted the importance of advancing automated mobility in Austria. Keynotes were delivered by MOIA and ASTRA, followed by impulse talks from ALP.Lab, Österreichische Postbus AG, and Taxi 40100. The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring representatives from Virtual Vehicle, Magna Steyr, ASTRA, and AustriaTech, addressing opportunities and challenges for the future of automated mobility.
For EXDIGIT, the forum offered valuable insights into the real-world deployment of automated mobility systems and the challenges surrounding their societal acceptance.
