Christine Bauer: ECIR 2026 Short Paper Co-Chair
At the A-rated European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2026) in Delft, The Netherlands, EXDIGIT professor Christine Bauer served as Short Paper Co-Chair alongside Sean MacAvaney (University of Glasgow) and Mohammad Aliannejadi (University of Amsterdam).
The short paper track proved highly competitive, attracting 108 submissions, of which only 37 were accepted.
Beyond her organizational leadership in the short paper track, Christine Bauer also mentored early-career researchers at the ECIR 2026 Doctoral Consortium.
The conference proceedings are published by Springer in four parts within the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
