The University of Salzburg was represented by our EXDIGIT <a href=\"https:\/\/exdigit.plus.ac.at\/en\/exdigitteam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Christine Bauer<\/a>. The event centered on the signing of the \u201cShe goes AI\u201d charter, through which representatives from academia, business, and education are committed to increasing women\u2019s participation in the field of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cShe goes AI\u201d Charter was signed during the event. It reaffirms the shared goal of empowering women throughout their entire educational and career paths in AI, fostering female talent, systematically building AI skills, bringing more women into leadership and decision-making positions, and breaking down structural barriers. In summary, the initiative aims to sustainably strengthen women\u2019s equal participation in the development and application of artificial intelligence. Among those participating were initiator Doris Schmidauer, Federal Minister Eva-Maria Holzleitner, and State Secretary Alexander Pr\u00f6ll. The event concluded with a festive reception attended by Doris Schmidauer and Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.<\/p>\n<p>Christine Bauer conducts research on responsible intelligent systems and the interplay between artificial intelligence, humans, and society.
